2025 BMW X6 Specs
The upcoming BMW X6 is a mid-size SUV, so it needs a powerful six-cylinder engine to get it going. This model provides a potent 3.0-liter turbo-six engine, producing 335 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. The X6 SUV offers an optional four-wheel-drive system once again. There will be no mechanical changes of any type. This model delivers 23 mpg, which isn’t bad, given the amount of power it generates.
If you want more power, the X6 M50i is the high-performance variant. A V8 engine is ready to make 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This model gets only 18 mpg combined. BMW offers the same eight-speed automatic transmission, as always before. Generally, this coupe-like SUV will not introduce mechanical upgrades, so the performance remains the same.
Exterior and Interior Upgrades
The SUV looks good, runs well, is reliable, comfortable, and safe. On the other hand, a lot of people won’t like how small the back of the SUV is. Because the changes are minor, we’ll focus on the current trim levels and lists of standard and optional equipment. The 2025 BMW X6 will offer adaptive headlights and LED fog lights as standard. Inside the cabin, a 12-inch screen, and navigation are available too. The interior is dominated by leather materials and some other premium touches. The seats in the front have lumbar support and heating. If you buy this model, you’ll get a panoramic sunroof as well. There are blind-spot monitors, forward collision warnings, and lane-departure alerts in the safety package.
The ride quality is truly amazing and generally, comfort is admirable. Some things are sportier than usual, including the steering wheel. The front seats are providing cooling and heating functions for even better comfort. The X6 model also provides a Wi-Fi hotspot and the latest phone integrations. BMW X5 AND BMW X6 Review comparison
BMW’s SUV lineup is currently one of the most extensive on the market, and the X5 and X6 are two of the company’s longest-running models. The former was BMW’s first SUV in 1999, and the later was the first trend-setting coupe-SUV in 2008.
The most recent generation of these popular vehicles was introduced in 2018 and 2019, and BMW is now presenting some significantly improved variants to guarantee they remain competitive against newer competition. Let’s take a look at some of the significant differences between the two vehicles.

The X6 looks similar to the X5 thanks to a redesigned grille and slimmer headlights, with the latter sporting arrow-shaped daytime driving light elements. M Sport variants also get a style inspired by BMW’s new XM, with the bottom elements of the car below the kidney grille gaining a black surface for a two-tone appearance. All of the revised engines on the X5 and X6 now have some form of electrification, with the X5 still offering a plug-in hybrid but all conventional petrol and diesel variants getting a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

The engines have also been improved, with a new eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox as standard. Starting with the xDrive40i petrol engine on the X6, output is increased by 46bhp to 375bhp, while improvements to the xDrive30d diesel unit on both the X5 and X6 have resulted in higher economy.
There is also a new ‘M60i’ variant at the top of the range, which employs a powerful 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine with 523bhp, allowing these huge SUVs to sprint from 0-60mph in as little as 4.1 seconds.
2025 BMW X6 Release Date, Price
The forthcoming 2025 BMW X6 will retain the price of the outgoing model. This means this premium coupe-SUV will cost around $77,000 once again. The sales will begin at some point in the second half of 2024. As before, the X6 SUV will rival models such as Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Lincoln Aviator and Lexus RX.
