2025 Mazda CX-50 Release Date and Style. The SUV segment is rapidly growing and Mazda is fully aware. Because of that, the manufacturer will introduce four new models. One of the models is the upcoming 2025 Mazda CX-50. Besides that, Mazda will reveal CX-60, CX-70, CX-80, and CX-90 variants. All models will arrive in the United States, most likely next summer.
The CX-50 should lead the way and the production will begin in the brand’s factory in Alabama. The official debut will happen in the coming months and CX-50 will not become a global model, yet. We still don’t know all of the details, but here’s everything we know about this model at the moment.
Hybrid Model is in the Works
At this moment, it is hard to predict a powertrain lineup of the 2025 Mazda CX-50. However, we anticipate a hybrid variant, using a rotary engine as the generator. This model will provide more power and astonishing fuel efficiency. The Skyactiv-R powertrain will debut in the coming months on the MX-30 model.
That’s when we’ll know all of the details. Besides that, CX-50 SUV will surely deliver a conventional gasoline engine as standard. Most likely, this model will offer a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 185 horsepower. Furthermore, a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine will be optional and it will develop around 260 hp. Mazda will also provide a six-speed automatic transmission and an optional AWD system.
Mazda CX-50 Looks Stylish
The new 2025 Mazda CX-50 is still a mystery, especially in terms of exterior design. However, the first design sketches are here, although we are waiting for the first batch of spy shots. According to sketches, the new CX-50 will look impressive. The front grille is especially attractive, but the overall appearance is not far behind.
The headlights are brand-new and very upright, with slim horizontal LED strips in the bumper. This means the radar sensor in the center will remain intact. The quarter glass now features a different shape, but the taillights won’t change drastically. Still, we’ll have to wait for spy photos or even for the official debut of the CX-50 SUV.
Interior Features
The 2025 Mazda CX-50 comes with an interior that will be more modern than the previous CX-5 model. However, the arrangement is likely to remain the same, and passengers can expect a very comfortable cabin that seats five. The CX-50 will be a well-equipped SUV, with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, cloth upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Of course, the upper trim levels will provide more luxury such as a power moonroof, a larger screen, and a premium Bose sound system. Carbon Edition should also be available, with a more athletic interior featuring several black elements.

2025 Mazda CX-50 Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2025 Mazda CX-50 will debut this November. Moreover, the production will begin next January at the Mazda’s Alabama factory. The sales will begin later in 2024 and CX-50 SUV will be available in the U.S. exclusively. The price is not available yet, but this model will surely cost between $25,000 and $30,000.
